Owner and lead arborist Adam Lesperance has lived, worked, and farmed in Bruce County his entire life. Adam grew up on his family’s Maple/dairy/beef farm in Park Head, attending Hepworth Public School, where son Kolby now attends, then West Hill Secondary School. He furthered his education at Sir Sanford Fleming College in Lindsey, completing his Ecosystem Management Diploma and Chainsaw Safety Certification. After various management jobs with the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ontario Parks, and private tree care services in the area, Adam started Woody’s Arborist and Yard Services in 2007. Starting with only himself, a truck, and a chainsaw, Adam has grown Woody’s into a full-service tree care operation now including 3 trucks, a 12” chipper, 56’ towable man lift, another full-time climbing arborist, and additional staff through the busy Spring/Summer/Fall seasons. The Woody’s staff team is constantly upgrading their skills to ensure they provide the best quality work.
Woody’s can be found completing tree removal and pruning in Owen Sound, Hepworth, Sauble Beach, Wiarton, Port Elgin, Southampton, South Bruce Peninsula, Saugeen Shores, Lions Head and surrounding areas.
Behind the scenes, Adam and wife Jessica have two children, Kolby and Arkelle and are also local sheep farmers. Jessica spearheads LAMBlicious from their storefront in Park Head where they direct market their sustainably raised lamb and various other local products.
After nine years providing high quality and professional service, Adam takes pride in the work that the Woody’s team does, ensuring the safety, value, and aesthetics of your property each and every time.
“Trust us to improve your property!”
Full-time arborist Brandon Fenwick also grew up locally in Park Head. Brandon holds his Arborist Certificate from Humber College and has been working with Woody’s for 4 years. Brandon’s friendly and professional demeanor and his dedication to ongoing training make him a valued member of the Woody’s team.
